4 Textile Factories are Established in Mardin
In the project carried out within the framework of combating the problem of youth unemployment, the site determination and tender procedures for 5 of the 7 textile factories that will provide employment for 1400 people have been completed and the groundbreaking work has begun.
It has been decided to establish 4 textile factories in the 2nd Organized Industrial Zone of Mardin. Also one each for textile factory will establish in Derik and Dargeçit districts, and also site determination works are continuing for one textile factory. The establishment of the textile factory in Derik district has reached the level of about 50 percent. The tender for the textile factory to be established in Dargeçit district has been completed and it has been stated that the excavation works will start as soon as possible.
A location was determined for 4 textile factories that will employ 800 people in the 2nd Organized Industrial Zone of Mardin. With the completion of the tender processes, the first digging was struck and the establishment work began.
Mardin Governor Mahmut Demirtaş stated that they are continuing their efforts to make the city a center of attraction in the textile sector; “I wish good luck to the city for the 4 Textile factories, whose groundbreaking works were started in the 2nd Organized Industrial Zone.” he said.
