Aksa Akrilik Increased Its Turnover by 91 Percent

Aksa Akrilik announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2021. According to the announced results, Aksa Akrilik’s turnover in the second quarter of 2021 increased by 91 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 3 billion 67 million TL. Compared to the second quarter of 2020, the company’s net profitability increased by 8 times and reached 424 million TL. DowAksa, a joint venture with a 50 percent ownership rate, also contributed to Aksa Akrilik’s financial results by increasing its turnover and net profitability in 2021.

Aksa Akrilik Board Member and General Manager Cengiz Taş stated that they had a successful first half in terms of operational and financial performance and said: “Our investments in sustainability and new products that will carry Aksa Acrylic into the future continue. In the first half of the year, we spent more than 31 million dollars in total. We are happy with the results despite the challenging conditions in the economy, and we would like to thank all our stakeholders, especially our employees, who contributed to this success.”
