Award from İTHİB to Çalık Denim Adding Value to Exports
The award was presented to Çalık Denim General Manager Serhat Karaduman at the ceremony held in Istanbul with the participation of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Chairman İsmail Gülle and İTHİB Chairman Ahmet Öksüz. Serhat Karaduman stated that Çalık Denim has left behind 34 years in the industry and that it is a young and dynamic company that always invests in innovation and innovative ideas. Karaduman said, “Çalık Denim, which is among the 200 companies with the highest exports in Turkey, will continue to strengthen its position in the global arena with the works it will carry out in the coming period”.

Çalık Denim, which was founded by Çalık Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors Ahmet Çalık in Malatya in 1987 with an investment of 111 million dollars, is among the leading premium denim manufacturers in the world. The annual fabric production capacity of Çalık Denim, which produces especially denim fabric, gabardine and yarn, has reached 55 million meters. Çalık Denim exports more than 90 percent of its production.
