Özdilek Home Textile was selected as Brand of the Year in the ‘Home and Garden Retailers’ category by the World Branding Awards, which awards the most prestigious brands in the world.
The 2019 award ceremony of the World Branding Awards, organized by the World Branding Forum, a UK-based non-governmental organization, was held at London Kensington Palace on the evening of November 14th. Özdilek Home Textile won the ‘Brand of the Year’ award in the ‘Home and Garden Retailers’ category. Fatih Güzelsözlü, Foreign Market Sales Manager of Özdilek Home Textile took the award.
Özdilek, which is Turkey’s important towel and home textiles manufacturer, has had a good innings on behalf of Turkish Textile as the single brand in Turkey that received this prestigious award of World Branding Awards evaluated by branding efforts and achievements, brand valuation, consumer market research and online public vote.
Özdilek’s production story began in 1971 in Bursa with two looms, five staff and a production capacity of 10 tons of towels. Today this success continues with the production of 14 thousand tons of cotton yarn, 10 thousand tons of towels and 18 million meters of home textiles in the facilities with a closed area of 122 thousand square meters. Özdilek which produce a fully integrated from raw cotton to cotton yarn, from the yarn to weaving, from dyehouse to garment in production facilities has 25 percent of the Turkey’s home textiles market. Özdilek; It exports 30 million dollars to more than 20 countries.
