Zorlu Textile, being the largest integrated manufacturer of indoor textiles and polyester yarn production in Europe, was awarded as the ‘Most Environmental Friendly Company’ at the awards ceremony of ‘Stars of Exports’ organized under the leadership of Turkey Exporters Assembly.
Zorlu Textile attracts attention with its environmental sensitivity and applied practices in everyday procedures by managing sustainability with a 360-degree approach in every field, from facilities to factories, from business processes to products and solutions.
In order to help develop exports and encourage the increase of its share within the country’s economy, at the awards ceremony of the ‘Stars of Exports – Hidden Champions of Turkey’, which is organized by Dünya Newspaper in the leadership of the Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM) for 19 years, the companies were awarded in 12 different categories. Zorlu Textile, which has come to the fore with its environmentally friendly products and its ongoing endeavors for many years, has won the award in the category of the ‘Most Environmental Friendly Company’.
Necat Altın, the President of Zorlu Holding Textile Group, commented on the award received, saying that Zorlu Textile was transformed in a way that creates value for the environment and the society by Zorlu Group, inspired by nature and people in line with the company’s Smart Life 2030 vision.
