Focusing on its projects after recovering from the effects of the pandemic, Alliance Machines Textiles recently received orders for several dyeing machines from a major German automotive manufacturer. Pascale Boisse, Sales Officer of Alliance in charge of the Turkish Market said, “We want to increase our activity in Turkey oriented to customers which are aiming for high quality products mostly directed to exports.”

Based in Lyon, Alliance Machines Textiles manufactures in France and exports all over the world with a fleet of more than 2 000 units installed machines.

The Environment at the heart of the company’ concerns: Resolutely turned toward the future, Alliance only provides technologies with short or very short liquor ratios. These liquors will continue to decrease in the future.

Alliance Machines Textiles company, like other French companies, has managed to overcome the difficult pandemic process thanks to a positive financial management. In this process, Alliance, which has carried out major internal projects especially in the fields of marketing and sales, updated its website and made new internal assignments. The company, which has recently ordered several dyeing machines from a major German automotive manufacturer, is hopeful for 2021.

We interviewed with Pascale Boisse, Sales Officer of Alliance in charge of the Turkish Market for the “France Special Issue” of our Tekstil Teknoloji magazine.

How was 2020 for Alliance Machines Textiles? What kind of a road map did you determine as a company in order to minimize the effects of the pandemic?

Alliance Machines Textiles had to face this unexpected situation. Pandemic was very strong in France in 2020 with two lockdown. However French companies could rely on the French Government who provided financial aids, thanks to them and to a very positive financial counting closure, Alliance Machines Textiles managed to cross storm.

Indeed, during this situation our company achieved great internal projects especially in marketing and sales. We updated our website and created a new brochure more dynamic and adapted to existing codes thanks to internal ressources. Moreover our company hired a head of sales to expand our presence on export markets. Many good prospects for the future of the company.

Past two years, what would you say has been Alliance Machines Textiles most significant developments and achievements?

Research and innovation are at the heart of our strategy. Our work focuses both on the continuous improvement of our machines based on listening to our customers feedback, but also on developing significant improvements on certain models to increase their added value.

One running innovation project is under development in order to maximize the benefits of the ROTORA P+ Alliance machine. This project was awarded “INNOV’R” as the eco-benefits will be very significant.

Furthermore, we are acting in a consortium in order to develop a brand-new disruptive machine.

What are the key trends you see emerging at the moment in the dyeing machinery sector ? What new innovations can one expect in dyeing machines?

Liquor ratio (environment trend) remain a key factor. Combined with industry 4.0, some Alliance strength in this field will be more visible. All Alliance machines are now Industry 4.0 ready to remote access, remote maintenance and have connected dashboard with performance management and more.

 Turkey, especially in pandemic process has become an important supply point for Europe again. How do you assess the importance of Turkey’s textile sector? Can you talk about the importance of Turkey for the Alliance? Do you have any new projects or products to Turkey market?

On First of all we need to emphasize on our existing references in the most prestigious companies in Turkey, such as Türkün Tekstil. Today, we want to increase our activity in Turkey oriented to customers which are aiming for high quality products mostly directed to exports.

Our way is to work in collaboration with customers to develop our mutual expertise and profits

Could you tell us about your worldwide sales and support network and the countries you export?

Alliance Machines Textiles has its own network of agents to respond to our costumers’ needs : Spain, Mexico, Morocco, Tunisia, United Kingdom, Belgium, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Egypt, Poland.

As Alliance, what are your expectations from 2021? Do you have new product projects and investment plans?

We expect to see the begining of the end of the pandemic, which means for us the possibility to travel freely and meet physically our customers to simplify trade exchanges. It is also a better way for us to get more orders, increase the quantity, between those who are being decided and those who are willing to come.

Indeed, recently we receive an order from a great German automotive manufacturer for several dyeing machines. As confidence comes back, only the best is to come!
