‘‘Gaziantep leads the way with the firsts and the bests.’’
TİM President İsmail Gülle drew attention to Gaziantep’s success in exports and the importance of textile exports in his speech. Ismail Gulle continued his statement as follows, ‘‘Gaziantep makes a difference in every field with its industry, production, and industrial infrastructure. We are leading the way with the firsts and the bests in our region.
Gaziantep is a wholesome mosaic and contains an endless source of inspiration for our designers. The importance of design is always one step ahead of the competition with the know-how it brings. These steps taken to bring it to the sector contribute to the export of value-added products of our country and will continue to do so. Once again, I congratulate all our designers, whether they win an award or not. Turkey will rise with exports, with the dreams and designs of our designers.’’
‘‘Everyone is a winner in this contest’’
Ahmet Fikret Kileci, the Coordinator President of the Southeast Anatolian Exporters’ Associations (GAİB) and also the President of the Southeast Anatolian Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association (GATHİB), emphasized that there was no losing participant in the competition, everyone won in one way or another. We have organized this contest for the first time, and we are very proud. We feel we are doing the right thing. Thank you to everyone who came here today and contributed to us. There are many resources in our land. Let’s just take advantage of them. We are trying to do that today. There are many realities about texture, fabric, life, and experience in every inch of Anatolia.
We are trying to reveal them in our own sector. There is no loser in this competition. Everyone wins in this competition. The industry is winning. Most importantly, humanity wins. Today there are people from many parts of the world here. There are many people from all over related to textiles and fashion. There are industry leaders, academics, business people, there is a beautiful mosaic here today.’’
