Faymak Makina to Present Hermetic Steam Generator at IGM 2022
Founded in 1986 as a private company, Faymak Makina became a legal entity in 1996. The company’s service area covers ironing systems used in textile production. The product portfolio includes products such as hat press, narrow ironing board, seam opening machine, wide ironing board, stain removal machine, and steam stone gluing machine. Faymak Makina, which reserved its place in IGM 2022- Istanbul 27th International Garment Machinery, Spare Parts and Sub- Industry Exhibition, will host its visitors with its new products in hall 2, booth 214 B.
Faymak Makina, which has nearly 40 years of experience in the sector, will introduce the Hermetic Steam Generator, which is certified in the boiler class with the smallest size natural gas and Hermetic feature, which was produced for the first time in Turkey at IGM 2022.
With the Hermetic Steam Generator, the steam obtained by using electric steam boilers in small enterprises was produced with a natural gas system. In this way, the electricity cost, which is the biggest expense item of the enterprises, decreased by up to 87%. The latest R&D studies were integrated with solar water heating systems and energy savings increased to around 93%.
Kemalettin Karslı, General Manager of Faymak Makina, stated the following about the contribution of the Hermetic Steam Generator to Turkey: “First of all, it is necessary to consider the Hermetic Steam Generator from two perspectives; Employment and the motherland, Turkey.
From the employer’s point of view, the Hermetic Steam Generator reveals that the employer can save energy to ensure the continuity of the company. In this way, it contributes to supporting production and employment. As I mentioned, this product we produce for small businesses minimizes the cost of electrical energy, which is the biggest problem. The profitability rate of the business increases. However, employment is indirectly supported by ensuring the continuity of the business.
The most important issue for the country is the reduction in investment costs in electrical energy power plant production systems since gas is used without generating electricity.
Karslı continued his comments as follows; ‘‘Looking at the energy use and savings example; a calculation was made based on fifty devices that were put into use for the last two years. Thanks to the use of only 50 devices during an 8-hour daily shift and 24-month working period, 12,175,000 KW of electrical energy was saved. In return, when a calculation was made based on the unit price of electricity used in industry, it was determined that the enterprises saved a figure of 10,957,500 TL. These figures only refer to 2-year energy use data in 50 micro-scale companies. (This calculation is based on January 2020 energy prices) Considering that there are 3000 micro-scale workshops and the number of these micro-scale companies varies between 5000 and 10000, the machine dial will not be sufficient to calculate the energy savings to be achieved.”
