“ITM 2026: A Key Platform to Introduce Our New Technologies to Global Markets”
EPA Akın, with approximately 38 years of experience in garment machinery production, showcased its next-generation solutions to industry professionals at the ITM 2026 Exhibition. Güneş Alagöz, Sales Executive at EPA Akın stated that the exhibition was productive both for meeting with existing customers and reaching new markets.
Alagöz, who noted that they develop machines specifically for shirt production, said that ITM 2026, with its international visitor structure, offered significant opportunities for their company. He added that they held meetings with industry representatives from many different countries, primarily Egypt and Iran, during the exhibition, emphasizing that Istanbul’s strategic location strengthened this interaction.
“We Had Productive Meetings with International Visitors”
Stating that ITM 2026 created a strong showcase for the introduction of new technologies, Alagöz said that the new generation machines they exhibited at the exhibition received intense interest from visitors. Expressing that the meetings held with sector professionals from Syria, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Egypt were extremely productive, Alagöz said that they had the opportunity to meet with the international customer base they expected in the exhibition environment.

New Investment Projects Are On The Way
Stating that within the scope of ITM 2026, they not only strengthened existing business relationships but also held discussions on new investment projects, Alagöz said that the contacts with companies from India, Bangladesh, and America, in particular, progressed positively. He stated that they aim to transform these discussions into concrete projects through customer visits to be carried out in the coming period.
“Our Target is the Latin American Market”
Also making assessments regarding future strategies, Alagöz stated that they are continuing their work on automation-focused new generation machine technologies. He said that they are focusing on the development of seamless automation systems and innovative garment solutions, and that on the export side, they see Latin America as one of their priority growth regions. Stating that they aim to be more effective in the Mexican, Colombian, and Brazilian markets, Alagöz expressed their desire to bring the technological and quality strength of the Turkish machinery industry to a wider audience in these markets. Expressing his satisfaction with participating in ITM 2026, Alagöz added that the exhibition significantly contributes to establishing new business connections and increasing international visibility.
