“ITM 2026 Offers an Important Opportunity for Digital Printing Investments”
Italy-based MS Printing Solutions and JK Group, operating under the Dover Group, are presenting integrated machine and ink solutions for digital textile printing at ITM 2026. Highlighting pigment printing technologies that require no pre-treatment or post-treatment, the company aims to contribute to the digital transformation of the textile industry with a sustainable production approach that significantly reduces water consumption.
MS Printing Solutions manufactures digital textile printing machines at its facilities in the Como region of Italy. Positioned among the pioneering machine manufacturers in digital textile printing, the company offers customers an integrated system that combines machinery with JK Group’s digital printing inks.
The main solution highlighted by MS Printing Solutions at ITM 2026 was pigment printing that does not require pre-treatment or post-treatment. The new-generation machine developed with new printhead technologies is designed to deliver faster and more efficient printing results, while the pigment printing approach offers producers a leaner, more environmentally conscious and operationally flexible production process.
“The Global Shift Towards Digital Printing is Accelerating”
Mert Demirel, Area Sales Manager at MS Printing Solutions, said 2026 has been a difficult year for many industries, including textiles, and that numerous companies have postponed investment decisions to the coming years. Nevertheless, Demirel said the increase in digital textile printing investments is encouraging, pointing to a rapid global shift from conventional printing to digital printing.
Demirel emphasized that Türkiye is one of the progressive and proactive markets in this transformation. He noted that MS Printing Solutions and JK Group operate not only in Türkiye but across a wide geography, from Europe to the Americas, from Africa to China, India and Pakistan. Demirel said they believe the contraction in the sector is temporary and that their presence at ITM 2026 is directly linked to this market confidence and expectation of recovery.
Sustainability and Printhead Technologies Come to the Fore
According to Demirel, the environment has been the most defining topic in textile printing from 2024 to 2026. Water consumption and carbon footprint now play a critical role in investment decisions. MS Printing Solutions and JK Group develop solutions that support environmentally conscious production on both the machine and ink sides. Pigment printing technology in particular enables applications that can reduce water consumption in production processes by approximately 80-90%, while new printheads contribute to more effective and faster production results.
