Karacasu Partners with Environment-Friendly Fiber Producers

Burak Orhan Arifoğlu, Board Member of Karacasu Tekstil, expressed, ‘‘Being one of the 6 worldwide alpha partners of the naia fiber produced by Eastman company has been an important reference for Karacasu.’’

Being a sustainable fiber, naia provides softness and fast water absorption properties to the fabrics it is used in. Arifoğlu indicated the following regarding the subject, ‘‘Thanks to the collections we produced with fiber, which we have been working on since the beginning of 2019, we had the chance to promote our products to many leading brands. We have raised awareness about a fiber that is still very fresh on the market, by making a successful promotion, and additionally, we have prepared a very good collection thanks to the skills of our managers in R&D and our employees in production. Today, naia has become a product that regularly finds its place in the production line of Karacasu Tekstil and has a continuous order flow.’’

Karacasu Tekstil, which focuses on value-added production through the R&D center that it has established, has been working as a service company for a while rather than being a yarn manufacturer. Burak Orhan Arifoğlu, who declared that the value-added production approach made the company more professional in every aspect and carried them forward, continued his statement as follows: ‘‘Our R&D center is not just an ordinary yarn research center. It has a structure that operates in fields such as machine manufacturing, process development in yarn production, fiber production and technical textiles. With the awareness of creating the technologies of the future, we have increased the number of engineers in our R&D center, which serves high value-added production and developing innovative textile products. We increased the R&D team of 28 people to 45 people.’’
