Koton Becomes a Turquality Champion with Its Global Store Network
Koton has been named the “Turquality Champion with the Highest Number of Overseas Units.” This achievement highlights the company’s position in international markets, where it operates 463 stores across 35 countries.
Koton marked a significant success at the Turquality Vision Meeting and Branding Conference, organized as part of the 20th anniversary of the Turquality Brand Support Program run by the Ministry of Trade. The company was selected as the “Turquality Champion with the Highest Number of Overseas Units.” The award was received on behalf of the company by Koton CFO Mert Güneş Sönmezsoy.
Launched in 2004 with the aim of strengthening Türkiye’s branding and export vision, the Turquality Brand Support Program targets the development of companies with strong global brand potential and stands out as the world’s first and only state-supported branding program. Koton’s recognition as the “Turquality Champion with the Highest Number of Overseas Units” demonstrates the level reached by the company’s global growth strategy and the strength of its omnichannel brand structure.
Having joined the Turquality Program in 2009, Koton today operates in more than 70 countries through its retail and digital sales channels, while continuing to bring Koton fashion to customers with 463 stores in 35 countries. Overseas operations are positioned as one of the core components of the company’s sustainable and scalable growth strategy. Koton continues to strengthen its global store network by deepening its presence in existing markets and expanding into new ones.
The Gulf Region Holds Strategic Importance in Overseas Expansion
The Gulf Region occupies a priority position in Koton’s international growth plans. Following Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Oman, the company has most recently entered the Qatar market. Currently operating in five Gulf countries, Koton is continuing preparations to enter Kuwait and plans to support its regional presence with new store openings in the coming period.
Focusing on a modern urban style, Koton ranks among Türkiye’s leading fashion brands with its accessible pricing approach, creative design capabilities and broad product range. The brand also strengthens customer loyalty through Koton Club, its loyalty program approaching 9 million members.
