Lenzing Came Together with Textile Manufacturers in Bursa for a Sustainable Industry
The Lenzing Gatherings, where Lenzing meets with producers and stakeholders in the textile industry to evaluate innovations and advancements, reunited with Bursa’s textile professionals for the third consecutive year. During the event held in Bursa, attendees learned about Lenzing’s innovative technologies and production processes and experienced the use of cellulose-based fibers through hands-on applications.
Organized previously in countries such as Brazil, Mexico, and Portugal, the Lenzing Gatherings also brought together textile manufacturers in Egypt earlier this year.
A leading global producer of specialty fibers made from wood, the Lenzing Group continues to raise environmental awareness in the textile sector with its now-traditional Lenzing Gatherings, returning to Bursa for the third time in 2025. Held on May 27, 2025, at the Sheraton Bursa Hotel, this year’s gathering brought together local manufacturers and key industry representatives from the textile hub of Bursa. At the event, industry professionals exchanged ideas on current developments in the sector and gained insights into Lenzing’s cellulose fibers and its global innovations.
Lenzing, aiming to increase awareness around environmentally responsible production processes, showcased its pioneering products and applications to the participants. Manufacturers and suppliers had the opportunity to closely experience various products made with Lenzing fibers.

First launched in 2023, the Lenzing Gatherings were designed to bring together key players of the textile industry. The events, which have received strong interest from industry professionals, have been held in some of Türkiye’s most important textile hubs including Bursa, Denizli, Çorlu, and Istanbul. As interest in eco-friendly production practices continues to grow, Lenzing Gatherings will keep expanding their global reach, bringing value-adding innovations to the industry in various cities across Türkiye and the world throughout the year. Having previously taken place in Brazil, Mexico, and Portugal, Lenzing Gatherings also welcomed textile manufacturers in Egypt earlier in 2025.
