Loptex: State of the Art Technologies in Foreign Fiber Separators
Serving in the industrial sector for 25 years, Loptex was the first company to introduce the concept of sorting out contaminants from a free fibres stream by means of pneumatic valves. Loptex’s foreign fiber separators have the ability to distinguish between colored fibers and even foreign fibers that are the same color as cotton thanks to the optical and sonic system.
Loptex introduced the concept of “Double Control of Contamination” by means of complementary technologies: Acoustic technology coupled with Optical technology. The detection of all types of contaminants, including fibres colour-like contaminants, was, therefore, possible.
Loptex introduces in the market multiple technologies for the save and comprehensive detection and elimination of contamination in preparation lines. Reference is made to carded fibers.
In Cotton Spinning, the Sorter Centra+ includes 3 technologies in one machine:
The Ultraviolet module detects optically brightened contamination including color and white PP; immature and dead cotton bunch of fibers.
The Acoustic module detects transparent and semitransparent plastic films and woven PP fabrics.
The Optic module with dedicated arrays of Embedded Color Cameras detects color contamination including light color thin PP strings which are considered the most hazardous contamination in cottons. In Nonwoven, the Sorter Centra+ includes the Acoustic and Optic module. The Ultraviolet module is offered as option. Bleached cottons, artificial and synthetic fibers are successfully monitored at low and at very high production rate. Loptex main key features: high efficiency, consistency on results, very low maintenance costs, fast return of investment.
