Japanese company Murata is the leading company in the field of air-jet spun yarn in addition to their winder lines. The company introduced QPRO EX and FPRO EX series of its wellknown winding machines along with the EX series of the VORTEX machine at ITMA fair.
Most of the spinning factories in Turkey use Murata Winding machines represented by Inta Makina. Murata QPRO and FPRO traverse winding machines continue to be the preferred winding machine for spinning mills.
We interviewed with Inta Makina’s General Manager Tolga Baydar and talked about new technologies that were introduced at ITMA 2019 and the importance of Turkey from the point of Murata company as well as the latest trends in the yarn industry.
What did Murata Company focus at ITMA 2019, which innovations did you exhibit?
Murata company introduced QPRO EX and FPRO EX series of its well-known winding machines along with the EX series of the VORTEX machine. It can be said that these machines are the advanced versions of our Plus series machines that have proven themselves in the market as the leading technology. While the power and air consumption have been reduced in all our machines in general, the speed of the Vortex machine has been increased by 10 percent up to 550 mt/min and by this means the production efficiency and performance have been raised.
In addition, three new type of splicers on our winding machines have been introduced. The SAS splicer which was developed specially for lycra core yarns along with the disc splicer, as previously introduced at ITM Istanbul, as well as the water splicer which was developed specifically for Tencel have been introduced to our customers. Murata’s Visual Manager, which is one of the leading technologies for Industry 4.0, was introduced with advanced online connection features. İn our Vortex yarn and fabrics sections, various fabric and product types which are developed jointly with our partners like AKSA Company from Turkey, were also exhibited at the fair highlighting the advantages of the final products using Vortex yarns. The new PRISMA electronic cleaner which was developed by Loepfe was also exhibited along with our FPRO machine.
