The 16th Istanbul Ready-to-Wear Conference, which will be organized by the Turkish Clothing Manufacturers’ Association (TGSD) this year, will be held at Çırağan Palace Kempinski on October 12-13, 2023. The conference, whose main theme is “Transformative Journey”, will bring together the ready-to-wear sector and all its stakeholders.
The conference, which is one of the important organizations of the Turkish ready-to-wear sector, will bring together the ready-to-wear sector and the supply chain.
The main theme of the conference organised by TGSD, the most inclusive non-governmental organisation of the ready-to-wear sector, was ‘Transformative Journey’ based on the transformations experienced in the Turkish ready-to-wear and textile sector. At the conference: ‘Traceability and transparency in the supply chain’, ‘the impact of artificial intelligence on design and production’, ‘new legal regulations in the EU and the US in the apparel and textile industries’, ‘e-export’, ‘brands’ sustainability journey’ and ‘future purchasing practices’ will be discussed. The conference, which hosted 1,000 physical participants in 2022 and 1,200 meetings with nearly 50 buying offices and brands, is planned to attract great interest this year as well.
