SASA to Integrate AI into Production Processes
SASA management visited the Center for Experiential Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization (ZEKI) in Berlin, one of the world’s leading centers in the field of concrete applications of Al, founded by German of Turkish origin scientist Prof. Dr. Şahin Albayrak. SASA exchanged ideas on the potential uses of artificial intelligence in production processes.
ZEKI as a leading center on AI stands out as one of the world’s leading centers on artificial intelligence, especially with its work on the tangible uses of artificial intelligence. The center receives support from three different ministries of the German state, as well as from German companies that are among the world’s giants, especially in the automotive and chemical sectors. It is also working to increase the capacity for real-time data analysis and digitalization in a way that will make everyday life easier and more efficient.

We will increase our production efficiency by analyzing real-time data at every stage of production.”
On the first day, the SASA delegation attended a 2-day workshop in Berlin, where they were informed about the latest developments in the field of Al and the current, concrete Al, and digitalization projects that ZEKI is working on.
The SASA delegation participated the presentations of Prof. Dr. Şahin Albayrak, the founder of the center, and Fikret Sivrikaya, a scientist from the Technical University of Berlin. On the second day of the workshop, SASA executives informed the ZEKI scientific delegation about the company’s production processes and potential artificial intelligence usage areas, and exchanged views.

Stating that they aim to prepare the sustainability and general business processes of the management for full digitalization, Öz said, “We will integrate advanced process control, the latest automation systems and information technologies into SASA production processes with the contribution of Al.
