Sözal Kimya carries out its production activities in its production facilities located in Bursa, in a textile area of 8 thousand 111 square meters and in a plastic section of 11 thousand square meters. Since its establishment, Sözal Kimya has expanded its fields of activity with the investments it has made; It produces in the fields of textile, plastic, hygiene and water treatment. It has an annual production capacity of 72 thousand tons in the field of chemistry and 12 thousand 500 tons in the field of plastics.
It serves the entire plastic industry with the production of dyestuff
Stating that they serve the chemical industry in many fields, Sözal Kimya Chairman of the Board, Eren Sözal, says the following about their activities: “In 2007, we started our activities with textile auxiliary chemicals and textile dyestuffs. We expanded these fields of work further by entering the plastics industry in 2016.
We produce dyestuff for the plastics industry with the production of masterbatch (a solid additive for plastic used to color plastics or to add other properties to plastics). As of the last year, we have created our main product segment by including water chemicals and hygiene group in our fields of activity. In our R&D center established in 2017, we carry out our innovation studies with a team of 30 people.”

Emphasizing that they aim to make a serious progress with different collaborations in R&D, Eren Sözal explained that they have big investment plans in both plastics and chemicals: “We believe that healthy and sustainable growth can only be carried forward with investments in information and technology.
In this direction, we aim to customize our Information Technologies department, develop solutions that can compete with both national and global technology companies in the field of software and bring value-added products to the software industry. We recorded a 30 percent growth in our sales volume compared to the previous year. We aim to grow by 65 percent by increasing our capacity by 25 thousand tons in 2021.”
