Stoll Introduces ‘knitelligence®’ Technology to Turkish Customers
The two-day event, held in Mayer Mümessillik’s showroom in Giyimkent, brought together the knitting industry. T.Kahraman Güveri, General Manager at Mayer Mümessillik, commented, “Some technological make-ups are applied to adapt the patterning, programming and molding processes to the machine in the process of traditional knitwear production. The knitelligence® technology is a modular system com- bines all Stoll software solutions intoa single platform, covering the entire value chain of flat knitting production. The knitelligence® can be easily integrated into existing customer processes from design to production. Thanks to this event, participants have been able to learn about the technological software, and see the Stoll application in the ADF 530- 32 W flat knitting machine.”

Güveri noted that another purpose in organizing the program is to bring together the knitting sector, which is having a difficult time in the economy, production and receiving orders.
Güveri said, “We organized this event in order to keep people dynamic and alive, and to show that things are currently going well. We also introduced the technologies used in the knitting industry in Europe and America.”
“TURKEY IS AN IMPORTANT MARKET FOR US”
Stoll Area Sales Manager Lutz Vogel, coming from Germany for the event, shared his evaluation on the year 2018.
Achieving a successful sales graphic in the first 6 months of 2018, the company had a slowdown in the sales of textile machinery in the second half due to the general economic situation all over the world. Vogel said, “When we look at our competitors as well as circular knitting machine manufacturers and spinning machine manufacturers, we see that most of their sales have slowed down in the second half. We all know that economic and political problems in the world can have a negative impact on business life.
In spite of this, I can say that 2018 has been a good year for Stoll and, 2019 will not go bad either.” Reminding that Turkey’s one of the strongest countries where they sell machines in 2018, Vogel said, “Turkey is an important market for Stoll.
Therefore, we decided to introduce the knitelligence technology in Turkey, which we launched for the first time at ITMA Asia in China in October. Other customers of ours will be able to see this software technology at ITMA 2019. We also receive proposals from companies in Turkey for 2019. However, Turkish companies are more cautious than before. They want to follow the course of the economy and the exchange rate fluctuations. I am hopeful that it will get better.”
