Tsudakoma Aims to Reduce Energy Consumption with New Air-Jet Machines
Tsudakoma, one of the leading brands of water and air jet weaving and sizing machines, celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2019. The company exhibited its air-jet weaving machines which focusing on reducing energy consumption at ITMA 2019.
We interviewed with Toshiaki Butta, Sales and Marketing Manager of Tsudakoma who participated in ITMA 2019 with a wide product portfolio, for our Tekstil Teknoloji magazine. Underlining that the company has focused on saving, Butta said, “Our goal is smart technologies. Therefore, we attach importance to saving resources. ”
What is the focus of Tsudakoma, which celebrates its 100th anniversary, in the production process?
Tsudakoma aims to realize its customer’s needs with the highest quality and transcend even its own innovation. Tsudakoma also aims to achieve the highest fabric quality with maximum environmental performance and high-speed stable performance, that is, ‘Smart- Ecology- Ecology and Economy in Harmony”.
Our goal is smart technologies. We are always committed to resource savings in order to fulfill a sustainable world and the textile industry that supports the future. We are trying to reduce energy consumption, which is an important issue for our customers. We aim to reduce energy consumption with our new air-jet machines.
Could you tell us about the products you exhibited at ITMA 2019?
We exhibited ZAX9200i Master Air Jet Loom for weaving mono filament of fine yarns. Versatility responding to advanced industrial fabric weaving, overwhelming energy-saving and air-saving performance are distributed throughout the weft insertion elements.
Our second machine which we exhibited was; sophisticated weft insertion module ZAX9200i Master Air Jet Loom. This machine designed for weaving fabrics of different yarn kinds and different yarn thicknesses using positive electronic dobby. It ensures air savings, high speed, low vibration and noise reduction. In combination with the PSC and the twin auxilary main nozzles, the ZAX9200i Master achieves energy savings and comfortable performance in weaving high quality fabric without compromising productivity.
Our other machine was ZAX9200i Master Terry Air Jet Loom. With high-speed and stable loom operation, excellent textured Terry is woven. Enhanced high speed performance is achieved with energy savings and air savings.
As we Tsudokakoma, we introduced TISS Tsudakoma Internet Support System. Tsudakoma provides a support system that helps users push their loom’s performance to the fullest. By linking the user’s looms to Tsudakoma via the Internet, their operation, productivity, and preventive maintenance are enhanced.
How was the visitors interest to your products at ITMA 2019?
This exhibition hosted many visitors all over the world such as Turkey, European market and also South America, USA, India and Pakistan. Therefore, ITMA was a good opportunity for us and we were very pleased with the visitors’ interest in our products. In addition to meeting with our old customers, we also had the opportunity to meet many new customers.
If you have to assess in terms of export markets, what is the importance of Turkey for your company?
Turkey is a very important market for us and for the textile industry and has a high potential. We have many customers in Turkey and we are working to further increase the number of our customers. Therefore; ITM 2020 Exhibition will be held next year, it will be a good opportunity for us to strengthen our presence in the market.
