Turkey is a Big Textile Region, That’s Why We Invest a Lot in ITM”
Vandewiele, one of the leading companies in carpet and rug weaving machines, hosted its visitors at its booth on the second day of ITM 2024. Exhibiting the products of Savio, Aros, Superba, Bejimac, Mesdan, SedoTreepoint under the roof of Vandewiele Group, the company attracted great interest of the visitors.
Vandewiele Exhibitions Manager Danny Bourgois made statements about ITM 2024 Exhibition, Turkish market and the products they exhibited. Bourgois said, “We believe that textile will revitalize in the future, our customers and us will develop further and we will not disappoint them. That’s why we want to prove this to our customers at ITM.”
Bourgois said that ITM Exhibitions always host a large number of visitors and added: “Turkey is located in the middle of a big textile region. That is why we invest a lot in ITM Exhibition. Because we believe that many people will come and visit our booth not only from Turkey but also from neighboring countries.”
Vandeiwele introduced three new carpet weaving machines at ITM 2024:
RCF Carpet Weaving Machine with ‘Fast Creel’ Technology: Reaching unprecedented speeds of up to 250 rpm, it sets a new industry standard. The digital ‘Fast Creel’ system enables fast color changes, fewer machine stops and efficient creel adjustments.
With the Fast Creel Solution, the USF Rapier Cut-Loop Machine offers versatile weaving structures and precise tension control in the loops. It delivers unmatched productivity, increased production rates and improved sustainability for carpet manufacturers.
The Vandewiele U4 Jacquard HCE3+ Handlook Weaving Machine ushers in a new era of weaving. When equipped with Vandewiele’s U4 jacquard machines, it enables highly efficient three rapier weaving structures.
Vandewiele has consistently delivered innovative solutions to textile manufacturers worldwide. From the renowned Myriad to the groundbreaking Colortec machine, Vandewiele’s commitment to high-quality and efficient tufting remains unwavering.
High-Speed Tuft (HST) Machine:
Designed to meet the industry’s growing demand for high-quality and high-speed production, the HST machine sets a new standard. Its remarkable breakthrough production speed promises unprecedented levels of productivity and efficiency.
Environmental Considerations: The HST machine is environmentally friendly, minimizing waste and reducing energy consumption. Its precise material management system minimizes fabric waste, contributing to sustainable production practices.
Next Destination: PROXIMA Smartconer®
The new winding machine Proxima Smartconer® is setting the benchmark in Savio automatic winding. It was combined the name Proxima with Smartconer®: it stands for a high-tech winding machine, capable of perfectly adapting to demands of Connectivity, Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things.
Proxima Smartconer® has been designed with the foremost attention to the customer’s needs in the optimal utilization of a winding machine. Investing in equipment that enables to work faster and reduces manual and repetitive tasks, can increase both efficiencies and overall productivity. The same applies to a new equipment that does more of what is needed, faster, safer, with better quality but with less waste, less maintenance, and less resource usage.
Bonas Jacquard Range Exhibited at ITM 2024
Bonas as the market leader, continues to build on the success of innovations in Jacquard technology. As markets are rapidly changing, future proof digital machines with maximum weaving design flexibility are paramount. The Bonas jacquard range, with up to 31.104 hooks in a single jacquard or 62.208 hooks when coupled, already dominates many markets in fashion, home, floor, and technical textiles. The most compact jacquard range available, with the least mass to drive, offers lower power consumption.
Low energy consumption, even for high-speed weaving, is additionally emphasized on the Si range. The Smart Drive is equipped with a unique feed forward system, predicting the design-related load so minimizing the over-all power consumption.
Danny Bourgais concluded: “We strive to produce and develop all kinds of machines, from the highest technology on the market, to the brand, to the production area. So our customers can produce the best and highest quality yarn, textiles or anything else with our machines. We have never stopped developing new machines. Even in these recent low economic conditions, we still believe in the future. That’s why we invest a lot in new developments. “
