Founded in 1968, Valvan Metaalconstructie, then known as Valvan Metaalconstructie, began manufacturing flax drying systems. In 1973, the company expanded its activities into the recycling industry with the production of textile waste and baling presses. In 1975, the company started to develop its own waste containers. In 1997, the company was splited into Valvan Baling Systems and Valvan Containers & Milieutechniek. In 2020, Valvan Baling Systems acquired Agila and expanded its capacity to include rubber milling. From 2023, Valvan Baling Systems is rebranded as Valvan to encompass its growing sorting and automation capabilities.

Recycling baling
Robust, reliable and safe, Valvan manufactures state-of-the-art horizontal baling presses for the recycling of various waste materials.
