We Felt the Pulse of Central Asia at Caitme
This year, for the first time, the professionals of textile and light in- dustry enjoyed the maximum effect of that synergy at the single exhi- bition space provided by UzTextile Expo and CAITME. This enabled participants and visitors of the exhibitions to appreciate benefits of this unity, where a full cycle of textile production and technologies from yarn to ready-made garments presented.
GREAT INTEREST TO ITM EXHIBITIONS IN UZBEKISTAN
We as ITM team, took our place at the exhibition area on first day. The ITM 2020 promotional brochures we prepared for visitors and partic- ipants offered participants. The Uzbekistanies showed great interest both in our hand brochures and in our International Textile Technology and Nonwoven Technical Textile Technology magazines. Uzbekistan has rightfully gained a status of one of the world textile production centres, and we are proud that it is the only country among the Central Asian countries, where the leading industry event in the field of technologies for textile and clothing industry – CAITME is organized. This unique event opens up unlimited oppor- tunities for attracting advanced technologies to the country, upgrading production facilities, establishing mutually beneficial cooperation.
The exhibition demonstrated the best technological developments and textile and sewing equipment manufacture allowing to improve quality and competitiveness of domestic products through revamping and modernization of production lines.
CAITME creates a new record by representing 372 companies and brands from 21 countries: Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, India, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, the Netherlands, the Republic of Korea, Russia, the USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, and Japan. A ratio of foreign and local exhibitors is 85% to 15%, respectively. As compared to pre- vious year, the exhibition area has grown by 24%.
The top five countries in terms of their number of exhibitors include: Turkey – 81; China – 66; Germany – 52; Italy – 32; India – 25 companies.
