We Sold 6 Machines on the 2nd Day of ITM 2024 Exhibition
İhsan Mokanoğlu, Founder and General Manager of EFFE Endüstri Otomasyon Inc. stated that they signed 6 machine sales on the second day of the exhibition. Mokanoğlu said; “ITM Exhibition has become a global event with exhibitors from all over the world, not only from Turkey.”
TM 2024 Exhibition, which brought together the leading names of the textile industry and the most innovative technologies in Istanbul Tüyap, signed important collaborations and machine sales on the second day. İhsan Mokanoğlu, Founder and General Manager of EFFE Endüstri Otomasyon Inc., stated that they signed 6 machine sales on the second day of the exhibition. We had a detailed conversation with Mokanoğlu about the contribution of ITM 2024 Exhibition to the sector and the company’s preparations for the future. Mokanoğlu emphasized that ITM has become a global event with participants from all over the world, not just Turkey, and shared the critical importance of the exhibition for the sector.
How was the ITM 2024 Exhibition? What are your impressions?
ITM is not only Turkey’s organization, it is now the world’s organization! In 2022, I hosted guests from 28 countries of the world at the event and had a very successful exhibition. I say the same for ITM 2024. I saw at this exhibition that no one wants to travel for useless purposes anymore. Buyers who know what they want to buy come to exhibitions. Manufacturers, consumers, suppliers all come together at this exhibition and it is a unique opportunity for the sector.
Which machines did you exhibit at ITM 2024 as a company and what kind of benefits do these machines provide?
We are at the show with innovative, sustainable and self-developing technologies. In 2016, we launched the Stenter machine, our most important machine here. Today, 488 Stenter machines are operating all over the world. It is an honor to launch this here. Our machines provide benefits in terms of systems that protect the environment and energy efficiency.
What do you think is the advantage of organizing ITM Exhibition in Istanbul?
Istanbul stands as the primary hub for the textile industry in Turkey. While other regions cities like Trakya, Çorlu, Çerkezköy, and Bursa also play significant roles, Istanbul’s unique position in terms of tourism and accessibility sets it apart. Visitors attending textile events can easily explore both exhibitions and local businesses, thanks to the city’s convenient transportation options. As a result, Istanbul rightfully claims its place as the central hub for the textile sector.
What kind of interest did you encounter at the exhibition? Are there any agreements?
On the first day, procurement managers, machinery energy managers and production managers of textile factories visited and made their preliminary preparations. Today, on the second day of the event, we realized 6 sales agreements. All of the agreements came from our neighboring countries; Egypt, Uzbekistan and Iran. We are very happy. We sold 6 machines on the second day, our target is 10 machines. I hope we will reach this target.
