“2023 Will Be a Record Year for Tomsic”

Offering high product quality, easy use and low maintenance costs with its spinning solutions, Tomsic Srl has increased its turnover by 20-30% in the last 3 years compared to the previous year. Ladi Tomsic, Tomsic Srl Vice President, said, “2023 will be a record year for Tomsic.”
Tomsic Srl, based in Italy, was founded in 1956. The new facility of Tomsic, which currently employs 15 local personnel, covers an area of 800 square meters, of these 200 sqm are allocated to offices and 600 sqm to production. The area has the possibility to be expanded to 400 sqm for offices and 1500 sqm for production. Tomsic can offer all type of equipment to complete spinning laboratory: from evenness tester, to strength tester, to fiber tester, to nep and trash tester, to sample weight testing and many other small equipment. For spinning production Tomsic offers sliver quality monitoring, card autolevellers and drawframe autolevellers. The most demanded products are evenness testers and strength testers.
We talked to Tomsic Srl Vice President Ladi Tomsic, with whom we interviewed for our Tekstil Teknoloji magazine, about the evaluation and goals of 2023.

Could you tell us about your worldwide sales and support network and the countries you export? What are your expansion plans?
Tomsic is introduced in approx 30 countries worldwide with a local agent and in many countries also with local service. We are already introduced in main textile markets, but we would like to expand also in others smaller countries/markets.
What are the biggest challenges especially for yarn manufacturers?
As Tomsic, we listen to our customers and their needs very well. Thanks to the customers’ feedback we constantly improve our products in order to better meet customer needs and expectation.
What are the benefits your spinning solutions offer to yarn manufacturers?
Tomsic offers spinning solutions to improve/upgrade old machines with new technology. Our spinning solutions allow greater precision and excellent results in terms of the quality of the output product, easy operation, very low maintenance cost and long-life expectancy on spinning machines.

What advantages do your spinning solutions offer yarn manufacturers?
In the last years Tomsic has grove a lot in terms of product portfolio and in terms of turnover. In last 3 years the turnover was increased 20…30% each year respect previous year.
Which kind of innovations, trends and progress is expected in upcoming years in the spinning sector?
Tomsic never stop its R&D, always is searching for something more, for testing deeply the fiber, yarns, slivers… new technology, new components allow to go further and further…
“We are trying to reduce electricity consumption in our products”
The most talked about topic in the textile industry lately is undoubtedly sustainable, environmentally friendly and recyclable products. What kind of work do you do on these issues as a company?
Tomsic started already 20 years ago to develope equipment environmentally friendly and recyclable products. During the development we are very careful about the components we use and to reduce the electrical consumption as much as possible.
We have left behind the first five months of 2023. How did 2023 start and progress for your company? Will you have new machinery and investment projects for the near future?
In first 4 months of 2023 we get orders for full 2023. For Tomsic , year 2023 will be a record year. In ITMA 2023 (Milan) we will introduce a new important product and others are in R&D for next future.
2023 will be a year with intense exhibitions. What will be the products you will exhibit at the ITMA?
We will announce a new product launch, as well as exhibiting all our line of products at ITMA 2023. We took a big area for our stand for this ITMA edition, the maximum in Tomsic story of exhibitions. We are are so excited to welcome all ITMA visitors at our booth H1C101
