Benninger operates as an integrated solution provider. Rolf Erik Schoeler, “We plan and implement technologically optimized and individual process and system solutions. We are trustworthy and reliable partner for our customers throughout the entire life cycle of the plant.” made his comment.
“Fashion industry responsible for 10% of annual global carbon emission”
Schoeler stated that as in all other sectors, Road to Net Zero and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (DSG) are discussed in the textile sector, but no one knows exactly what to do. In his speech, Schoeler touched upon the issues that do not fit these roadmaps in the textile industry and said the following: “Fashion industry responsible for 10% of annual global carbon emission, fast fashion is getting more and more popular, producers too far away from consumers, growing use of man-made fiber, outdated equipment in use (approx. 90.000 jet dyeing machines in use of which 60-70% totally outdated), not using state of the art dyes and auxiliaries.”
Schoeler stated that as Benninger company, they aim to be a leading technology complete system supplier for continuous wet processing, discontinuous dyeing and remain the leader for solutions for the tire cord industry continued his words as follows: “We take seriously our responsibility towards sustainable textile production and have always stood for textile finishing plants that are particularly resource efficient.”
Schoeler shared the following information about the products in their portfolio: “We supply overall solutions for all important textile wet finishing processes, and we specialize in the continuous open-width treatment of woven and knitted fabrics, technical textiles as well as jet dyeing machines, jiggers, along with the complete and integrated dye house supply systems such as liquid dispensing, salt and soda ash distributing systems as well as dye staff distribution systems.
