HOCKS – Silicone Blankets for Crabbing, Pressing and Laminating Machines

The latest development is a silicone blanket for pressing machines with an endless Kevlar fabric in the needle felt as a carrier fabric. This construction gives the silicone blanket significantly better stability in use than a conventional silicone blanket that has a polyester carrier fabric. In addition, the Kevlar-based silicone blanket is significantly more resistant to chemicals.

The outstanding properties of this new generation of silicone blankets can be summarized with very good dimensional stability, very uniform surface, very good resistance to chemicals, very good rolling quality without the formation of ‘elephant hide’.
