Tepar Tekstil, recently began to invest in Turkey to produce raw materials they have imported. In this way, the company plans to make a profit for the sector and the country.
Tepar Tekstil, which started its activities by exporting denim clippings wastes 29 years ago, became one of the first companies to produce technical yarn 18 years ago. Tepar Tekstil, which continues its adventure to produce Turkey’s most qualified technical textile yarns at the factory in Hadimkoy, recently started investment to produce the raw materials in Turkey by itself that they have imported.
Tepar, the first textile waste exporting company in Turkey, it has in technical textile production since 2002.
Tepar Tekstil, which exports qualified and functional yarn to more than 35 countries today, has an employment capacity of 80 people now. The company exports 40 percent of its total production. Domestic companies that buy these products also work 100 percent export-oriented. The company sees it as a priority to ensure that domestic industrialists supply the raw materials they need at more affordable prices.
Tepar Tekstil is currently in the preparation of new moves in terms of square meters and machinery in order to expand both in terms of facility and production model. The company aims to produce raw materials received from abroad in Turkey, so that the plans to provide an income for the country and sector.
Tepar Tekstil Produces Exemplary Projects
Tepar Tekstil has developed five patented products and produced projects that will set an example for university / industry cooperation, as a result of its technological cooperation with Istanbul Technical University. Some of these projects include camouflage nets for moving and static tanks, breathable special force suits, performance sportswear that keeps the body dry and warm thanks to 50 percent weight reduction. The yarns produced; It is used in the field of technical textiles, smart textiles, military and ballistic textiles, active sports, home and outdoor textiles, protective textiles, automobile textiles and industrial technical textiles.
