Epson Achieved 155 m2 Per Hour Textiles Print with Monna Lisa at ITM 2022
Epson Como Printing Technologies exhibited the Monna Lisa ML-8000, the entry model of the Monna Lisa series that combines performance and usability to meet the needs of the digital textile market for flexibility and sustainability at ITM 2022. The textile market operators closely examined the eagerly awaited model in Istanbul during the ITM 2022 Exhibition.
Epson Turkey Wide Format Channel Sales Manager Ersel Şamiloğlu stated that with the new printer model ML-8000, which was exhibited for the first time in Turkey, they had the chance to present Epson quality live to the visitors once again. Emphasizing that there is a great interest in Epson, Şamiloğlu continued as follows, ‘Visitors were very interested in the new ML-8000. Apart from our domestic visitors, we had visitors from many different countries. The ML-8000 textile printer worked non-stop, just like in the factory environment, and produced prints with superior color quality. At ITM 2022, we had the opportunity to exhibit the ML8000 by printing directly onto the fabric with pigment ink. Epson Italy, Epson Turkey, and Epson Middle East teams welcomed the visitors employing a very strong staff.’’
Environmentally friendly printing
With the latest 8 Precision Core print heads, the ML-8000 can reach a print speed of 155 square meters per hour (600×600 dpi). The ML-8000 offers high print quality, productivity, and stable operation with minimal downtime. This new generation model is known as the ideal printer for companies that want to switch to digital printing with easy-to-operate features at an affordable price. The ML-8000 uses Epson GENESTA inks contained in a degassed vacuum package in Acid, Reagent, Dispersion, and Pigment formulations. To meet the globally recognized standards for environmentally friendly textile printing, the inks have the ECO PASSPORT certificate and the Acid ink Bluesign as well as the Reactive and Pigment inks are GOTS approved by ECOCERT.
