“Thanks to the ITM, 2022 has been a Positive Year for Santex Rimar Group”
Offering environmentally friendly solutions for weaving, textile finishing and technical textiles, Santex Rimar Group recorded an increase in its production volume and orders in 2022. We interviewed with Santex Rimar Group Vice President Federico Businaro for the special issue of ‘Italy Textile Machinery Industry’ of our Tekstil Teknoloji magazine. Businaro, who we asked about the evaluations of 2022 said, “Even if we always hope for something more in terms of our production volume, orders and export markets, there has been a significant increase in 2022 compared to previous years.”
Reminding that the weaving machinery market continues to grow throughout the world, Businaro expressed that as Santex Rimar Group, they continue to work to reach full production capacity.
Stating that problems such as the energy crisis, the Russia-Ukraine war, and the increase in raw material prices affect the entire textile industry, as well as the Santex Rimar Group, Federico Businaro explained his strategies for coping with the crises as follows: “But thanks to the patience of our valued customers, we were able to protect ourselves. We have found good compromise methods, and we work hard with our suppliers who are stressed during this process.”
Stating that the demand for weaving machines gives reassuring signals even if the forecasts are not among the best, Businaro said, “We will see the results together, relying on the recovery of the market.”
Stating that there may be changes in the export markets of textile machinery after the ITMA 2023 to be held in Milan in June, Businaro stated that it is early to explain their strategies for these markets.
Federico Businaro, who explained that they will work to make their machines respectful to nature as Santex Rimar Group in 2023, said, “Innovation, in recent years we continue to talk about innovation, we are all working on it, but above all trying to make our machines and their use more respectful of nature, we must ensure that our customers save energy and consume as little water as possible, this is what can and must be done.”
