The MARATHON+ SAP S/4HANA Project, which will allow Özak Global Holding’s subsidiary Özak Tekstil, operating in the textile sector, to manage all its operations from order to production, from logistics to financial processes on a single platform, has started in collaboration with NTT DATA Business Solutions Türkiye. With the project that will strengthen Özak Tekstil’s corporate infrastructure in line with its digital transformation vision, the operational structure will be supported with a more integrated system infrastructure.
Ahmet Akbalık, Chairman of Özak Global Holding, who sees digital transformation as a fundamental condition for sustainable growth, made the following assessment about the project: “Özak Tekstil is one of our strongest companies, preparing collections for world brands today with its over 40 years of accumulated experience, experienced design and R&D teams, working with more than 25 global giants and exporting to more than 30 countries. Taking the successes we have signed so far to a much higher global level is only possible with a data-driven and holistic management approach. With the MARATHON+ SAP S/4HANA project, we will further strengthen our data-focused working method and management approach, and we will present our difference in the sector in a much clearer way.”
Up to 35% Improvement Potential with Transformation
Pointing out the operational results of the transformation, Özak Tekstil Group President Urfi Akbalık said: “The ready-to-wear sector is entering a new era where not only those who manage costs, but those who convert the power obtained from data into sustainable growth, shape the future. With the MARATHON+ SAP S/4HANA project, which we started in collaboration with NTT DATA Business Solutions Türkiye, we are digitizing all our processes end-to-end as Özak Tekstil. Our goal is to eliminate operational repetitions and manage data from a single source of truth. Our preliminary analyses foresee up to 35% improvement potential in some business processes. With this move, while using our operational power much more efficiently, we will also strengthen our agile management model that makes decisions based on data.”

With this project, coordination between processes at Özak Tekstil will be strengthened, decision-making mechanisms will become more transparent and traceable. While operational competencies are reinforced with common standards, an infrastructure will also be established that advances efficiency in cost management and consistency in ways of working.”
