A New Era for Turkish Textiles in the Fashion Capital: Intertex Milano Returns
In Milan, where the heart of the global fashion industry beats, the countdown has begun for the Autumn/Winter 27–28 collections. Organized by Italian Fair Service, a member of UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry), Intertex Milano is reopening its doors with a strategic post-pandemic transformation—this time exclusively to “fabric, yarn, and accessories” manufacturers.
Milan, which shapes the direction of global fashion, is preparing to host one of the most significant gatherings of the textile industry on July 7–9, 2026. The well-established event, organized since 2001, has decided to separate the “Apparel” and “Raw Material Supply” exhibitions, taking into account the changing dynamics of supply chains after the pandemic. With this strategic move, Intertex Milano is re-emerging on the international stage as a specialized trade platform for fabric, yarn, and accessories producers.
Strategic Timing During the Major Textile Week
The exhibition will take place at the Milan Marriott Hotel Convention & Exhibition Center, during one of the most productive periods in the global textile calendar, simultaneously with other sectoral events in the city. This strategic timing creates a unique opportunity for qualified buyers from across Europe and around the world visiting Milan to meet with Intertex Milano exhibitors.
The venue enjoys a strategic location that is easily accessible for all visiting buyers. Throughout the event, dedicated shuttle services departing from key industry hubs are planned to ensure that purchasing professionals can reach the exhibition venue effortlessly.
Ren Sourcing: We Are Opening a Strategic Channel for Turkish Manufacturers
Sibel Ege, Founder of Ren Sourcing and the Turkey Consultant of the exhibition, expressed the organization’s vision with the following words: “Intertex Milano is not merely the return of a trade fair; it represents a strategic channel opening for the Turkish textile sector. As a result of our collaboration with the global organizer, Italian Fair Service, we have secured a special quota and priority status for our Turkish companies in this season’s planning. Our goal is to integrate our production strength and quality into the sourcing routes of tens of thousands of global buyers during this most critical period when they make their fabric selections.”
Aiming to increase textile export potential, Intertex Milano is welcoming industry professionals with a limited participation quota.
