Celebrating 40th Anniversary of Foundation, Iteks will Leave Its Mark on ITM 2024 with Its Brands
Iteks-İnter Tekstil, which represents the world’s leading machinery manufacturers in Turkey in the textile industry, dyeing-printing-finishing and technical textile sectors, celebrates 40th anniversary of its establishment. Iteks, which serves the textile industry with more than 20 brands and more than 600 customers, is preparing to leave its mark on the ITM 2024 Exhibition with the latest technologies developed by the companies it represents.
Iteks General Manager Mehmet Özcan made evaluations to Tekstil Teknoloji magazine on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the company. Stating that they entered the 40th year with a new website and logo, Özcan said that their brand is preparing for ITM 2024 Exhibition in the best way.
Here are the highlights of Mehmet Özcan’s statements:
Founded in 1984, our company is proud of contributing to the development of the textile industry in Turkey by transferring knowledge and technology in its own fields of expertise. With the participation of young people in our company management, sales and technical services staff, we are moving forward with our goals of expanding our business scope to wider dimensions by creating the infrastructure for the next 40 years.
“We will welcome our customers with a new website and a new logo on our 40th anniversary”
Iteks is preparing to welcome you with a new face (new website, new logo, new systems) and energy in its 40th year. This energy, which forms the cornerstones of a sustainable structure, will open a more interactive way of communicating the developments and innovations in the world to our dear friends who are solution partners with us and choose to walk together.
When we review the important events we have experienced in recent years, the Covid-19 period, which changed the flow of life and the world order, was the most important note written in history. The changes that emerged after a stagnation that lasted very long for us but in an instant for the world age, directly affected the textile industry. In addition to clothing habits, the basic raw materials used have also changed. Instead of more formal clothing (such as suits, shirts and ties), people have turned towards a more comfortable and sporty style of clothing. The demand for clothes made of regenerated and synthetic fibres (Polyester, Tencell, Viscose, Modal, etc.) has increased instead of traditional clothes made of wool fibres or cotton fibres. In daily life, flexible products with high elastane content, which can move more easily and require less maintenance (especially ironing), have risen to the first places in preferences. This change necessitated changes in production technology and equipment.
“ITM 2024 is an important opportunity for our companies to share their products with you”
As İteks, we closely follow these changes today, as we have done for the past 40 years. We contribute to the machine manufacturing companies in Turkey, for which we provide representation and technical services, to be in the centre of these changes by communicating their studies on these issues to our customers. The companies we work with have been in business for many years and their success is based on their ability to continuously research and develop products in line with the demands of the market. International Textile Machinery Exhibition ITM 2024 is an important opportunity to present and share these results with you.
Brückner is celebrating the 75th anniversary of its foundation. The company management is excited to share the honour of reaching the 75th anniversary with you in Turkey. It is ready to share with you its innovations both in textile technologies and in the fields of technical textiles and carpet and floor covering.
Osthoff-Senge continues to be the world leader in its field with its unique and excellent gauze (singeing) technology, which it has created with more than 100 years of industry experience.
Carrying its 120 years of technical know-how to these days, Goller continues to offer new solutions under the roof of Fong’s Europe. The new Effecta washing chambers developed for the processing of flexible and fracture-sensitive woven fabrics solve the problems of fractures and defects in fabrics while achieving high washing results with less water. Sintensa rotor-drum washing system, developed for very sensitive processing of knitted fabrics with high elastane content, can provide very successful washing results with less water.
The Then brand, which invented the air flow dyeing technology that revolutionised fabric dyeing, continues to develop new techniques under the roof of Fong’s Europe. While achieving unrivalled results especially in the processing of new generation fibres (modal, tencell, lyocell, viscose, etc.), it also provides very economical values in the dyeing of cotton and polyester fabrics.
“THEN will exhibit the new generation Airflow fabric dyeing machine Air-Jetwin at ITM 2024”
Then has developed new technologies that eliminate the winch mechanism, which can cause unwanted problems such as fracture and polishing in the dyeing of fabrics. Smartflow in round form and Supratec LTM models in horizontal form using this technology have started to be used in Turkey. Then will exhibit the new generation Airflow fabric dyeing machine Air-Jetwin model at ITM 2024.
Fong’s National Engineering, which achieved the lowest water consumption in coil dyeing with the pump and circulation system it developed, is proud of its share in the copying of this technology by its competitors years later.

Erhardt+Leimer, which manufactures centres, sensors, loadcells and cutting systems that operate with high quality and precision in motion control and tension control equipment in fabric and web processes, offers the right solutions in the textile, non-woven, paper, rubber, film, hygiene-converting industries with nearly 3000 employees worldwide and more than 100 years of know-how. E+L will exhibit its newly developed ELSeam seam detector as well as ELClean fabric surface cleaning equipment at ITM 2024.
The fact that the issue of water is becoming a vital problem in our country and in the world requires us to gradually turn into a water-poor country and to focus on solutions beyond saving in water use, especially in textiles. The only solution is to make the water we use reusable, not just to treat it and discharge it into nature. In many countries, especially in India, it has become a necessity to establish these systems. Unitop, a company whose technological solutions and experience in their own country we have brought to Turkey, is implementing successful projects in this field. Unitop is also one of the leading manufacturers of caustic recovery systems.
SPGPrints, which continues the know-how of Stork, the first practitioner of this technique in the field of textile rotary printing, and especially the tradition of the blade squeegee system; applies the multi-repeat system with both magnetic and blade squeegee with the Teak model, the new generation of the legendary Pegasus. Teak is the only option that can apply both squeegee systems in combination in the same press position.
With its innovative perspective, sustainability-oriented approach and strong representation network, Iteks continues to make a significant contribution to the future of the Turkish textile industry and to serve you with its new face.
As İteks, we invite you to visit our stand 1208B in Hall 12 at ITM 2024 and discover the latest products and innovations of the companies we represent. Together, we are excited to continue contributing to the future of the Turkish textile industry.
