DeFacto Exhibited Its Heating Coats at Teknofest
DeFacto is leading the industry with its innovations in technology as well as fashion, took its place at Teknofest, Turkey’s first and only aviation, space and technology festival. DeFacto introduced its smart clothes to the visitors at Teknofest held in Ankara.
DeFacto is continuously improving its technological infrastructure in order to adapt quickly and effectively to changing shopping habits with the development of technology, and continues to integrate clothing designs with technology. DeFacto exhibited the clothes developed with its technological infrastructure at Teknofest Ankara between August 30 and September 3. DeFacto’s heating coats that will make a difference in the sector and smart technical clothes developed with TÜBİTAK were presented to the festival visitors for the first time. DeFacto also provided Teknofest participants with a VR experience with content developed by the company.

“Our smart technical products will make a difference among wearable Technologies”
Rahmi Say, CPO of DeFacto, talked about the products they brought together with Teknofest visitors as Turkey’s global fashion brand: “With the developing technologies all over the world, we also include diversity in our production processes. We always aim to lead the sector with our technological infrastructure. We took our place at the festival to introduce Teknofest visitors to smart clothes. For the first time, we introduced to Teknofest visitors our coats, which protect body temperature even at the lowest temperatures with their waterproof and windproof fabrics and contain heating equipment, and our smart technical products developed in collaboration with TÜBİTAK. These products will make a difference among wearable technologies by breaking new ground in the sector with their design and technical features, which monitor health in difficult conditions, provide personal security, have special fabrics, contain temperature sensors and will make a difference among wearable technologies. We are delighted to take part in Teknofest, Turkey’s first and only aviation, space and technology festival, with our technological and innovative approach.”

The products were tested by Turkish scientists for 1 month
Rahmi Say: “The prototypes of our products, which we developed with TÜBİTAK and include sensors that monitor health, were tested for a month by Turkish scientists who took part in the 3rd National Arctic Scientific Research Expedition organized under the coordination of TÜBİTAK MAM Polar Research Institute. Our prototype products, which were worn in harsh conditions in the Arctic Ocean, received full marks from the 3rd National Arctic Scientific Research Expedition Coordinator Prof. Dr. Burcu Özsoy and his team.”
