EFI Reggiani Presented Revolutionary Innovations at ITM 2024

We interviewed with Micol Gamba, Product and Marketing Manager at EFI Reggiani, which took its place at ITM 2024 with EFI Reggiani EXTRA, the address where bright colors, print quality and productivity meet, and EFI Reggiani eco TERRA pigment printing series, which revolutionized the field and is completely sustainable.
Can you give us some information about the products you highlighted at ITM 2024?
The product we are highlighting at ITM 2024 this year is EFI Reggiani eco TERRA. It is an all-in-one solution for pigment printing and allows customers to install unprocessed fabric. The fabric is printed directly on our press and after a stenter line in our special built-in dryer and then applying some softeners and chemicals that improve fastness, the fabrics are ready for use as soon as we finish the process inside the presses. We can reduce the water usage impact by 90% and chemical consumption by 75%. The second big news at ITM this year is our new EFI Reggiani EXTRA, a new press that takes advantage of twelve color configurations to improve quality, color density and overall efficiency. This is a very f lexible solution designed for customers who want to print high quality at higher speeds.
Why is ITM 2024 so important for the industry this year?
We are going through a really difficult time for the textile industries. What we want to do is to be a partner to our customers and provide them with solutions that help solve the problems they need to face today. We know that many brands and retailers really need customers to improve their sustainability footprint and so being able to offer them solutions in that direction is one of our commitments. Our second big goal is to increasingly focus on software that helps customers improve their efficiency. So the integration within Inèdit and the launch of EFI Reggiani QUERY are just some of the solutions that we are integrating to help customers become more and more efficient to compete in a market that is very, very challenging these days.
How was ITM 2024 Exhibition for EFI Reggiani?
So far we are seeing a really exciting version of ITM 2024, especially the second day. We are seeing a lot of crowds around and we think this will increase in the next few days.
What would you say about the position of Turkish textiles in the world?
I think Turkish textiles are really recognized as one of the highest quality textiles out there. It is recognized for its quality, its expertise, its knowledge, its history and heritage. I think right now the country and especially the textile market in the country is going through a difficult period, but I am sure that with the quality and great entrepreneurship of the company leaders in Turkey, this moment will definitely be overcome with great success.
