Le
ading the Sector with a Sustainable Production Approach
Acme Holding Board Member Toygun Batallı, who stated that they have made significant steps in 2024 as a year of growth and development, said: “As the Etrofil brand, with our production facility in Yalova and dyeing facility in Gaziantep, we hold a strong position in yarn production and trade in Turkey. Since 2002, operating under the umbrella of Acme Holding, we stand out with our innovative and quality production approach in the sector. We are one of Turkey’s leading yarn producers. With our wide range of products that blend natural fibers such as cashmere, angora, lambswool, cotton, and silk, along with synthetic fibers such as viscose and polyamide, we produce both knitting and weaving yarns. Additionally, we adopt an environmentally friendly production approach by producing 100% organic and recycled yarns.”
Prioritizing Women’s Employment While Growing in Production
Toygun Batallı, who stated that there has been growth in production and new openings in exports for Etrofil, said: “While increasing our production volume, we experienced a significant rise in demand for our wool and wool-blend yarns. During this period, we made our production processes more efficient, raising our quality standards to the next level. By developing innovative solutions that meet customer expectations, we continued to strengthen our position in the market. The year 2025 will be a year in which we will have a broader impact on the global market. We aim to grow by 40% by increasing our annual production capacity from 1,800 tons to 2,500 tons. Additionally, we plan to expand our existing export network and make a stronger entry into the Asian market. While maintaining our strong positions in America and Europe, we will focus on increasing our brand recognition in Asian countries and forming new partnerships. At the same time, we will stand out with our contribution to employment. Especially our emphasis on women’s employment is one of the core values of our company. The fact that the number of female employees in our 350-person workforce exceeds that of male employees is one of the key indicators of our approach to supporting equal opportunities. By empowering women in the workforce, we aim to create a business model that makes a difference in our industry.”
