Evteks Exhibition Postponed to May 2022
Evteks 26th Istanbul Home Textile Exhibition, which was planned to be held at Istanbul Expo Center on September 20-24, 2021, has been postponed to 2022.
The organizer of the exhibition announced that the committee postponed the event due to the ongoing pandemic conditions around the world and made the following statement on the subject: ‘‘This postponement decision was taken in line with the demands of many of our participants and solution partners abroad. In addition, countries participating in the exhibition such as Germany, Spain, Morocco, and Portugal have also decided not to participate in the exhibition for this reason.
Furthermore, China and India, the two most important countries in Asia, stated that they would not be able to take part in the exhibition as participants. European companies, which are the most important buyers of Turkish home textiles, stated that they will not be able to attend the exhibition that will take place in 2021.’’
The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the whole world since February 2020 and has also caused the postponement of international exhibitions. According to the statements made by the authorities, it is predicted that the epidemic can be brought under control in the first quarter of 2022, with the completion of vaccinations by the end of this year. Therefore, international events and exhibitions are postponed to 2022.
Evteks Exhibition, one of the most important events in the world in its field, will be organized in May 2022. The new dates of the exhibition will be announced in the coming days.
