“From the First Day of the ITM 2022, We Have Had A Lot of Meetings”

Polteks company produces dyeing and finishing machines such as Calender, Fulard, Cold Pad Batch, Knitting Sanforizer, Calender Machine with Rubber Blanket in the dye finishing group. Polteks, which filled the gap by increasing its R&D activities during the pandemic period, produced 3 new machines in the last 3 years. Stating that the industry missed exhibitions, Karen expressed that people long for moving, traveling, and purchasing.
Karen said; “According to my impression from the first day of the exhibition; The exhibition met our expectations. Because from the first day, we hosted many visitors at our stand. Foreign participants were also quite high. There are also many international participants. We have to thank Teknik Fairs and Tüyap who organized the exhibition. We developed our machines during the three-year mandatory break period given to the exhibitions. I think many companies have done this. No one was idle. We brought different technologies to our products. I can say that we have no rivals except for a few world brands. However, we improved ourselves a little more. We got patents. We produced calenders with double surface control. I think we made good use of these three years. I am hopeful that we will progress well.”
“We Attended ITM 2022 to Meet New Customers”
Indicating that they took their place at ITM 2022 to introduce their brand strength and themselves to new customers, Karen expressed that they had a lot of meetings since the first day of the exhibition. Karen said, “We put a lot of emphasis on the technical details. On the second and third days, ripening begins. It’s normal. The results of the first day are very good in my opinion. If the Turkish textile industry is managed well, it is a sector with a future in the world. Costs and labor are now cheap in the world. Turkish people can now produce high-quality technology. Europeans used to do it, they don’t anymore. We have to. If the state supports us and gives us the lead, we can do it.”
Describing that his company works hard on Turkish textile machinery, Karen stated, “If we can focus on foreign trade and try to open up to the world, our power and energy will increase. We will progress even more in knitting and weaving. We were also successful during the pandemic period. But in 2022, unfortunately, the increase in energy and gas prices and the fluctuating economic situation caused the halt of some works. We increased exports. We force ourselves to export.”
Polteks, which was first established in a closed area of 5,500 m2 in Bursa Kayapa Industrial Zone in 1994, started its production life with the production of polyurethane and rubber-based machine parts. Later, Polteks, which specialized in cylinders, increased its experience and knowledge in this field by producing cylinders for many sectors.
In its adventure of machinery that started with the Calender Machine, it later added Pad Batch, Coating Line Calender, Crushing Calender, Squeezing Padder, Rubber Blanket Calender, Knitted Fabric Calender, Laboratory Calender, and Special Machines.
The company currently manufactures textile machinery for the textile industry, cylinders for many industries (textile, iron-steel, aluminum, paper, wood, packaging, plastic, leather), and suspension wedges for the automotive industry, in a closed area of approximately 10,000 m2.
