Global Buyers Met with Bursa Textile Manufacturers
Bursa Textile Show Fair, organized under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) on September 5-7, ended. Organized for the 10th time this year, the fair brought together buyers from different geographies of the world, especially Europe, Africa and the Middle East countries, with Turkish exporters.
Bursa Textile Show Fair, which aims to create export added value in the textile sector, hosted thousands of participants from 70 countries. At the fair, qualified buyers from abroad came together with Bursa companies at the cooperation table. Within the scope of the activities of KFA Fuarcılık Company in partnership with BTSO and UTIB, foreign buyers from different geographies of the world, especially from Europe, Africa and the Middle East countries, held important business negotiations with the companies that opened stands at the fair. In the fair, B2B organization was also organized within the scope of Ur-Ge projects of the Ministry of Trade.

İsmail Kuş, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of BTSO, said that Bursa, which has a great experience in the textile sector, continues its strong performance in export markets. As BTSO, he stated that more brands in the textile sector should take part in the global league and that this is through increasing the number of exporters in the sector. İsmail Kuş: “The aim of Bursa Textile Show Fair is to enable our sector representatives to open up to the world. Our fair continues to increase its success with the organization experience of our KFA Fair Organization company. Fairs are important for our companies to show themselves to the world. With this fair, we hosted buyers from different geographies of the world in Bursa. I believe that the business meetings held at the fair will reflect more on exports in the coming period.”
Foreign buyers who came to the fair also stated that the program increased its quality every passing period. Maes Lena, a sector representative from Belgium, stated that the fair, which she came for the first time, was very productive for her company: “I believe that I will make new collaborations with companies in Bursa. I want to visit the fair next year as well.” Nadezhda Dronova, who came from Russia to visit the fair, said that she cooperated with many companies from Turkey and met new companies thanks to Bursa Textile Show Fair. Dronova noted that there was a nice atmosphere at the fair: “The energy of the fair is very high. A comprehensive organization has been organized.” commented Dronova.
Mohammed Elsalam, Chairman of the Ready-to-Wear and Home Textile Committee of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, stated that he has participated in the Bursa Textile Show Fair many times: “Bursa has world quality brands in textile. Bursa Textile Show Fair is a world quality organization. I was pleased to participate in the fair.” Sector representatives also stated that the organization, which determines the fashion in textile, improves its quality every year.
