Has Group Attaches Great Importance on R&D
Focusing on the expectations of its customers, Has Group invests regularly in R&D in various fields from new product development to improvement of existing products. Each year, the company allots approximately 3% of its revenue for R&D. Having the widest range of products among the specialized textile machinery manufacturers, Has Group has 12 patents, utility models and design registrations. Having successfully completed an order-based R&D project in coordination with an R&D center last year, the company signed a project cooperation protocol with another R&D center this year.
Providing supports for trainings of the staff at the R&D center on technical issues, Has Group incentivizes master’s and doctoral studies that enable the design and research capabilities of its engineers to increase the workforce quality. Has Group has strong collaborations with universities and has an ongoing project with Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University and the TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Counci of Turkey). Has Group’s Product-Based Studies in 2018 Include
NEW GENERATION STENTER
Providing energy saving up to 20% with regular R&D investments and developing products, this stenter machine was developed by the R&D team analyzing sectoral needs and assessing customer demands. With the new design work carried out in the drying cabinets, it was achieved to find a solution with a convenient and low maintenance cost for more durable structure that enables all fabric types to move.
STENTER AUTOMATION WITH NEW TYPE OF ETHERNET COMMUNICATION INVERTER
Has Group‘s next-generation Stenter allows industrial remote access across the globe. It allows smart grid applications with Ethernet/IP communication automation, which is a secure and has a flexible use of network. With the interface and support programs developed under Industry 4.0, production lines and energy monitoring for the machines are made for all customers. Data collected from machines can also perform machine maintenance periods and fault tracking thanks to information processed on the cloud server. Customers can also connect to their machines from mobile devices developed for all machines, and monitor their consumption of power, gas, air, etc. This way, they can easily calculate the cost of fabric they choose to use. With the software and applications, the machines are controlled remotely, and the unplanned downtime costs are eliminated. Thanks to the 15-inch Multi-touch panel and high-performance industrial PCs with Windows operating system, Has Group offers customer-specific solutions. Chain and feeding engines are controlled by variable speed drives. With the IoT applications of the drivers, the current, voltage and torque values can be monitored and intervened online. It makes the machine’s service life longer by checking whether machine maintenance instructions are observed. It allows revising the component by checking how often a given component fails.
NEW GENERATION DENIM AND WOVEN FABRICS BRUSHING MACHINE
The brushing machine’s effect on the denim fabric is supported with mechanical transfer components and automation changes to make it more efficient. In addition to increasing the added value of the product, new dust absorbing units have been designed and applied successfully with CFX analysis.
NEW GENERATION RAISING MACHINE
With the mechanical and automation changes, the added value of the products has been increased to last longer. The fabric effect is maximized with first-class electrical and electronic equipment manufactured with the latest technology, by minimizing electricity consumption.
NEW GENERATION HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM
Product development was applied for heat recovery system in line with the sustainable efficiency, which is important in every field. A heat exchanger design with stainless plate is used instead of the existing stainless steel pipe systems. The design was finalized with CFX analyzes performed by the R&D team. This project aimed to provide a higher rate of recovery from the hot air exhaust gas in the stenter than the existing heat recovery. It is also cleaner and easier to maintain than the pipe system.
HAS GROUP’S TARGETS FOR 2019
Introducing high value added machines in the product range and presenting new generation versions of existing products to the customers,
Continuing to work on the efficiency and saving principles with digital transformation in all areas by using smart technologies in automation systems of the products, Has Group’s 2019 targets include establishing organizations to ensure that all these cost-effective, eco-friendly, IoT machine smart systems work together in harmony in order to stand out in the global competition in the future’s world.
