Heat Setting Machine, Yarn Steaming Unit and New Winding Machine X-Wind Pro 1.0 from Power-Heat-Set
Power-Heat-Set is known for powerful heatsetting machines, the GVA and the HiPerSet -each with a different focus and for different purposes which were developed in- house by experienced engineers and technicians. The company will introduce these two products as well as the yarn steaming unit Steamatic and the new winder X-Wind Pro 1.0 at the booth number 706 in Hall 7 at ITM 2024.
The GVA is a six-channel machine and offers the best flexibility and high performance for heatsetting carpet yarn with up to 96 ends. This provides the possibility to run high volumes of uniform production efficiently but is also the perfect solution to flexibly run six individual lots. It uses superheated steam with the full capacity of heatsetting natural or synthetic fibres with an enormous output from 8 – 17 tons of yarn per day – depending on the type of GVA configuration.
The HiPerSet is a single channel machine for carpet yarn treatment. A specific air guide system provides a constant thermal environment in the complete processing station. Improved airflow-management leads to a high volume of climate circulation and high compression, allowing yarn to be heated quickly and thoroughly to the required temperature. On the HiPerSet, all kinds of yarn can be processed – 6 – 12 tons per day – and due to the modular system, every customer can choose his ideal machine.
Additionally, we are happy to introduce our redesign of the Steamatic, especially to customers of the worsted yarn industry: The Steamatic is a fully automatic, computer controlled inline yarn steaming unit – designed for integration between ring spinning and winding machine. This allows integrated processing of materials that require steaming and moistening between spinning and winding and gives customers the opportunity of inline steaming in only one work process. The compact machine can be combined with all rings spinning and winding systems and convinces users with low investment and maintenance costs, easy installation and commissioning, and optimal steaming results for several yarn types.
Another newcomer in the PHS portfolio is the new winder X-Wind Pro 1.0. Designed for the winding following the preceding heatsetting process, it winds the yarn optimally back onto the packages in perfect symbiosis with the PHS heatsetting units, the GVA or HiPerSet. The in-house designed winder can quickly wind up to 60 bobbins for HiPerSet or 96 bobbins for GVA; and when the required length is reached, doffing is automatically initiated.
