Following the protocol held by Bülent Ünal, Chairman of TÜYAP Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım A.Ş and the journalist/researcher Dr. Rüştü Bozkurt, sectoral issues, suggestions for solution and innovative quests were discussed at the meeting. The headlines of the workshop activities to be held in the future have been determined.

In their speeches at the protocol opening, HİGE-DER Chairman Hüseyin Öztürk and IKU’s Rector Professor Erhan Güzel shared their views on the current situation of the sectoral and scientific works on textiles, fashion, and apparels, and the needs and future trends. In his speech, TÜYAP Chairman Bülent Ünal mentioned the important role of universities on sectoral development, and expressed his excitement about the concrete results of the cooperation between the two institutions. Journalist/Researcher Dr. Rüştü Bozkurt expressed his suggestions on the current problems, increasing the contributions of universities for the development of our country, and cooperation with the industry for scientific researches in order to use innovative methods.
