İhsan Mokanoğlu, General Manager and Board Member of Effe Endüstri Otomasyon A.Ş. stated that the ITM 2026 Exhibition is being held at a critical time for the textile machinery sector and that they believe the exhibition will give the sector a new impetus.
Mokanoğlu said that despite the recent economic difficulties, they have observed a resurgence in the sector, and emphasized that ITM 2026 will bring investors, manufacturers, and suppliers together on the same platform, paving the way for significant collaborations.

Mokanoğlu noted that at ITM 2026, they exhibited the stenter machine, which has become synonymous with the Effe brand, as well as the free-drying machine used in dyeing and finishing processes and the steaming machine, one of the important pieces of equipment in printing technologies, adding that the exhibition offered significant opportunities for their company. Noting that the changes in the sector since 2014 have largely been shaped by economic conditions, Mokanoğlu highlighted that as a company, they have reorganized their production structures during this process. He said that they aim to produce more efficiently with less labor, and that by turning to lean manufacturing techniques, they have maintained machine production numbers while simultaneously focusing on developing more technological solutions.

Mokanoğlu stated that the textile and textile machinery sector has been going through a difficult period for the past year and a half, and said that ITM 2026 will be a source of morale and motivation for the sector. He noted that a strong synergy has been created thanks to investors, customers, and suppliers from nearby regions, adding, “ITM 2026 will create the serum effect that the sector needs. After a long period of stagnation, the sector needs renewed energy and motivation. I believe that the business connections and meetings made during the exhibition will have a positive impact on all sector representatives.”

Mokanoğlu also touched upon Effe’s position in international markets, stating that they have representative offices in approximately 32 countries and a strong structure, especially in nearby regions. Mokanoğlu explained that they are active in markets such as Egypt, Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, as well as Italy, Poland, and Portugal, and added that Istanbul’s strategic location offers significant advantages in bringing together industry professionals from different countries. “Every company is strong in its own geography. We also have a very strong position in our region. The ITM 2026 Exhibition is of great importance for us to meet with our customers and business partners from these markets,” said Mokanoğlu, emphasizing that the exhibition will make a significant contribution to the development of international trade relations.

Emphasizing that there has been a noticeable increase in activity in the sector in the last two months, Mokanoğlu said that they believe this positive momentum will strengthen even further in the coming period. Expressing that ITM 2026 will be an important starting point for new investment decisions and collaborations, Mokanoğlu also stated that they introduced the improved version of the stenter machine, which has been preferred in many countries around the world for approximately 10 years and has become synonymous with their company, at the exhibition.
