ITMF 2025 Awards Announced
The International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) has announced the winners of the ITMF International Collaboration, Sustainability & Innovation, and Start-up Awards 2025, honoring remarkable projects that drive progress across the global textile value chain.
The winners will present their projects at the upcoming ITMF & IAF 2025 Conference, which will take place on October 24–25, 2025, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, co-hosted by the Indonesian Textile Association (API).
International Collaboration Awards
These awards recognize initiatives that promote cross-border cooperation in the textile industry in line with the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Among the 2025 winners is Bursa Uludağ University (Türkiye) with its project “Unlocking Circular Fashion Design Excellence (ReMODE).”
Other awardees include Far Eastern New Century Corp. (Chinese Taipei), Hyosung TNC Corporation (Korea), and Tangshan Sanyou Group Xingda Chemical Fibre Co. Ltd. (China P.R.).
Sustainability & Innovation Awards
Highlighting companies that combine innovation with environmental responsibility, this category celebrates projects focused on sustainable design and production.
The 2025 awardees are Archroma (Singapore), LDZ New Aoshen Spandex (China P.R.), Smartex.ai (Portugal), and Von Holzhausen (USA) — all recognized for their forward-thinking contributions to eco-conscious textile manufacturing.
Start-Up Awards
The ITMF Start-Up Awards provide a platform for emerging companies to showcase their ideas and connect with established players in the global textile industry.
The five winners of 2025 are Ambercycle (USA), aweXome Ray (Korea), BYBORRE (Netherlands), Silana (Austria), and ZymoChem (USA).
These start-ups are leading innovation in circular economy, artificial intelligence, robotics, and biotechnology — redefining the future of textile production.
The ITMF 2025 Awards once again highlight the vital role of collaboration, sustainability, and innovation in driving the textile industry forward, recognizing global efforts that are shaping a more responsible and dynamic future for the sector.
