Kipaş Holding to Solve Unemployment Problem
Kipaş Holding set off to train its technical intermediate staff. Organizing the “Intermediate Technical Personnel Training” program, Kipaş Holding will provide employment support for students graduating from various departments at vocational schools.
Being one of the milestones in Turkey’s industry and economy, Kipaş Holding is creating a training team consisting of in-house experts to arrange the “Intermediate Technical Personnel Training” for students graduating from department of fashion design vocational schools such as textile design, electrical and electronics, machinery and so on. Also receiving job applications from the graduates of these departments, Kipaş Holding employs successful candidates after 3 months of theoretical and on-site training.
Candidates who have difficulty in adaptation in courses but attend all courses can find jobs in other companies. Thanks to the courses organized as per the instruction from Kipaş Holding management, the problem of unemployment has been solved to a great extent.
Organized with the coordination of Kipaş Holding Human Resources Department, the program meets the need for qualified staff at Kipaş’ affiliated companies. Pointing out that long training courses for young people, who graduate from vocational schools, leads to both loss of labor force and low productivity after employment, Özkan Açık, Human Resources Director at Kipaş Holding, said:
We are holding interviews for positions such as management intern and technical staff for candidates who have achieved a certain GPA score, to be employed following the Intermediate Technical Staff Program arranged for graduates from vocational school departments, especially fashion design, textile design, electrical and electronic maintenance. Within a period of three months, we apply a program framework we have prepared beforehand for them. The qualification of candidates, who are given vocational and other trainings, is also increased in this process. The most important feature of the program is that they learn by observing and examining the working principles in our facilities by subjecting them to a comprehensive rotation due to the wide range in our structure. At the end of each month, we prepare report cards based on feedback we receive from them. We offer jobs to successful candidates at the end of the 3-month period.”
