Koza Halı’s Global Success Crowned With A GAIB Award
Koza Halı was deemed worthy of the “Export Star” award with its 2024 export performance at the Stars of Export organization organized by the Southeastern Anatolia Exporters’ Associations (GAIB).
At the Stars of Export organization held in Gaziantep by the Southeastern Anatolia Exporters’ Associations (GAIB), companies that stood out with their contributions to exports in 2024 were awarded. Koza Halı became the recipient of the “Export Star” award thanks to its stable growth in international markets, production capacity, and export performance.
Within the scope of the organization, awards were presented to the representatives of 100 companies that made a difference with their production strength, contribution to employment, and success in foreign markets. With this achievement, Koza Halı once again demonstrated its sustainable rise in the field of exports.
The said award is the result of the coordination of the trade team under the leadership of Commercial Director Gülçin Çalışkan, a high sense of responsibility, and a strategic approach focused on international markets. Koza Halı has continued its efforts with determination, aiming for new markets in exports and a stronger global position.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar, Governor of Gaziantep Kemal Çeber, Mayor of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Fatma Şahin, Chairman of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) Mustafa Gültepe, GAIB Coordinating Chairman Ahmet Fikret Kileci, as well as representatives of public institutions, the business world, and non-governmental organizations.
In the evaluations made during the program, attention was drawn to Gaziantep’s strong performance in production, employment, and exports. It was stated that despite global and regional challenges, the city realized exports of 11.7 billion dollars in 2024 and ranked as Türkiye’s 6th province with the highest exports, with an export volume of 10 billion dollars.
The organization organized by GAIB once again revealed the region’s increasing export potential and the competitiveness of companies in global markets.
