Mimaki, the leading brand of wide-format inkjet printers and cutting plotters, has continued its mission of introducing innovations to the market in 2020 and 21, when the pandemic was effective. Mimaki Eurasia offers the advantages of being a global brand to the Turkish market and prioritizes being the most important partner of its users in textile printing, as in other business segments. Mimaki Eurasia Regional Sales Manager Hüseyin Şarerler informed about the market activities and said that although there were decreases in orders throughout the market, Mimaki did not experience such a pause.
Şarerler explained that they introduced new products to the market throughout 2020 and 21, and that this reflected positively on orders. He disclosed; “Mimaki offers advanced printing solutions to the segments of Sign Graphics, Textile and Apparel, Industrial Products and 3D Industry. Turkish printing industry is making progress every year, both in terms of application diversity and business volume. We contribute to this growth without compromising the criteria of providing a safe technology and superior service to the industry and our users. New investments are made in UV printing applications in addition to the industrial signage segment, which is quite lively in Turkey. Our innovative and advantageous transfer printers in textile printing meet the needs of manufacturers at numerous different levels. This brings us to the first place among the preferred partners of textile manufacturers”.
Şarerler pointed out that digital textile printing has increased rapidly in recent years in home textiles, carpets and signs with textile surfaces as well as clothing and fashion, and said that they have a comprehensive product portfolio in these areas. Şarerler continued his words as follows; “The 100 Series, brought to the market during the pandemic period, includes textile, UV and eco-solvent printing models. These entry-level printers successfully meet the demands of our users in terms of price/performance. In addition to our roll to roll and transfer printers, we also had innovations in the UJF Series flatbed models that make UV printing directly on the object in the 2020-21 period. Our product portfolio has expanded with the JFX600-2513 in large format UV-LED flatbed printing. We have not only introduced new products, but, for example, we have also updated the price of our TS55-1800 sublimation transfer printer, making it more attractive for textile manufacturers. We are very pleased that many of our users, especially digital printed carpet manufacturers, chose to take advantage of this opportunity”.
