Machine-made Carpet Manufacturers Will Meet at DOMOTEX Turkey
DOMOTEX Turkey, the first fair of the industry to be held in Turkey and the Middle East after two years, attracts great attention as a result of the prominent role of the carpet product group in Turkey’s exports. 4 months before the fair, which Hannover Fairs Turkey will organize for the seventh time this year, 70% sales of the fairground have been completed.
DOMOTEX Turkey Fair, which will be held for the 7th time this year by Hannover Fairs Turkey Fuarcılık, will bring together professionals operating in the carpet and floor coverings sector.
DOMOTEX Turkey will be organized in Gaziantep, the center of carpets with the 1,6 billion USD exports and having 55 percent of Turkey’s carpet exports, with the support of Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce, Southeast Anatolian Exporters’ Associations and Gaziantep Chamber of Carpet Producers and Weavers. Machine-made carpets and rugs; handmade carpets and rugs; textile floor coverings (wall to wall); resilient floor coverings; laminate, wood and parquet; fibers, yarns and woven fabrics; laying, cleaning and application technologies; in addition to artificial grass and sports flooring, companies operating in the machinery and flooring application and technologies industry, will exhibit their newest products and technologies and meet with national and international buyers during the 4 days of the fair.
The Chairman of “Southeast Anatolian Exporters’ Associations, Carpet Exporters’ Association”, Ahmet Kaplan stated that “DOMOTEX Turkey is of great importance for Gaziantep, the center of the machine made carpets” in his evaluation of the fair, and continued as follows: “We continue our efforts to maintain our leading position in the sector with DOMOTEX Turkey. In DOMOTEX Turkey 2019, the latest edition of the fair, 164 national and 39 international exhibitors presented their innovative products and designs that combine modern and traditional lines, to 14,309 visitors from 89 countries. At DOMOTEX Turkey, which attracts great attention this year, 70% of sales of the fairground have been completed 4 months before the fair.
