Monforts’ New VertiDry System Attracts Great Interest at ITM 2026
Monforts, a long-established manufacturer of textile finishing machinery, showcased its new generation VertiDry drying technology and continuous dyeing solutions to industry professionals at ITM 2026. Monforts Area Sales Manager Thomas Päffgen stated, “ITM 2026 is an important trade platform that brings together not only the Turkish textile sector but also international visitors from different geographies.”
Known for its stenter frames, relaxation dryers and continuous dyeing ranges, Monforts introduced its new VertiDry system for the first time at the exhibition. Developed for technical textiles, the new VertiDry vertical dryer offers contact-free drying without touching the fabric surface, particularly in demanding coating processes and non-contact impregnation applications. Operating on the principle of convection, the system enables gentle handling of sensitive materials thanks to its vertical fabric transport system. Various nozzle options adaptable to different processes, easy integration into finishing lines through its compact design, easy access for maintenance and roller cleaning, short installation time thanks to its pre-assembled design, and integrated exhaust air ducts are among the key features of VertiDry. The new VertiDry system can be used for airbag fabrics, technical textiles and conventional textile applications.

Despite challenging conditions in the global market, Thomas Päffgen stated that ITM 2026 is an important meeting point for the sector, adding that the exhibition is valuable for establishing new business connections and evaluating market developments. Päffgen said, “Today, conditions in the industry have become more complex than in the past. However, we are pleased to welcome a large number of visitors at ITM 2026. We had the opportunity to share our new developments, introduce our technologies, and present our company to professionals from different markets.”

Stating that the Turkish market is of strategic importance for companies, Thomas Päffgen said that the ITM 2026 Exhibition offers a significant advantage by attracting visitors not only from Türkiye but also from international markets. Noting that global political developments have affected the exhibition’s visitor profile in recent years, Päffgen explained, “Due to the global political situation, there has been a slight decrease in the number of international visitors. However, we still held meetings with important visitors from different countries. In particular, we observed that manufacturers from the Far East and machine manufacturers from Türkiye have become more visible.”

Evaluating the visitor profile at ITM 2026, Thomas Päffgen emphasized that one of the exhibition’s most important advantages is bringing together decision-making professionals.
