Necdet Örme Provides Knitted Fabric Service to World Famous Brands

Necdet Örme, which was established about 40 years ago to produce knitted fabrics, has grown and moved to its new building over the years. Now the company, which exports fabrics to world-famous brands, produces more than 250 tons of knitted fabrics per month with a total of 40 machines.

Necdet Örme, which has increased its investments in knitting fabric machines in recent years, produces various knitted fabrics with its capacity and technologies.

We interviewed with Necdet Uçar, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Necdet Örme, for the special issue of our Tekstil Teknoloji magazine this month. In our interview, we talked about the company’s work.

Could you tell us about the development of Necdet Örme since its established?

Necdet Örme was established in 1982 as a small workshop for the production of knitted fabrics. Initially, we were manufacturing with a few machines. In 1994, we moved to our new factory by incorporating with Ayvaz Tekstil which produced collar, trichaband. By the end of 2016, we started to export fabric by establishing Neytex Tekstil company. We continue to grow in the sector by increasing our machine numbers and capacity.

Could you tell us about the production capacity of your factory?

We produce more than 250 tons of knitted fabrics per month with 40 machines in our 9000 square meter factory.

What kinds of knitted fabrics do you produce?

We produce knitted fabrics from 18 gg to 32 gg tube and open width depending on their types. In our facility, single jersey, french Terry, three thread, pique, rib, waffle, interlock, stripe fabric, jacquard, fantasy fabrics and different weaver of knitting types, could be produced depending on our customers requests. We produce raw dyed and corded dyed fabrics.

How do your knitting designs come about?

In addition to the products we have designed and developed, we make special productions in line with the demands of customers. Knitted fabric orders from our customers are produced with the best service and quality awareness.

What do you pay attention to when machine invest?

We generally act according to the market situation. What are the expectations in the market, which fabrics are preferred, we buy machines in line with questions such as. Recently, patterned fabrics are preferred very much. That’s why we bought a jacquard machine.

Which countries do you export the most?

We export mostly to France and Tunisia. Currently, we dominate 60% domestic market and 40% foreign market.

Which major brands do you serve worldwide?

Our company serves a lot of trademark worldwide countries and through its research and development department, produces over 300 new designes every year. Among the  international brands we work such as; U.S Polo, Pierre Cardin, Tom Tailor, S. Oliver, Lacoste, Ted Baker, Cacharel, Lagerfeld, Bogner, El Corte, Zara, Versace, Fritzy, Silk & Cashmere, Eleven.
